Hey Reader,

One day at a time. Her boss called and asked what do you need today? Not next week, not tomorrow what do you need today? She said, "water". So a worker brought over 2 cases of bottled water. My friend had just brought her husband home after only 2 weeks of being diagnosed with brain cancer, several surgeries. Now at home he was on hospice. The next day her boss called and asked again, What do you need today? Her air conditioner was not cooling right. He sent workers over and had it fixed for the night and a plan for the full repair.

Yesterday at the Home Going Service (aka funeral) I told her that is how God provides, what you need today.

He says to each of us, "What do you need today?"

In Isaiah 26:3 and 4, God says that when we keep our mind stayed on Him He will keep us in perfect peace. Verse 4 says because we trust Him. So this month we will focus on trusting God.

Matthew 6 is all about not worrying and it is all summed up in verse 14. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Seeking God's kingdom first and keeping our eyes on Him we can trust that He is faithful. Always.
