3.2.1 Weekly Dose of Encouragement Jan 28

January 28, 2024
Issue 48

This week I am sharing some special thoughts. We have recently had several friends and acquaintances pass on into eternity. This has created in me a search for scriptures to pray over these who are recently widowed. If you don't need these scriptures now, you may need them at a future time. Peace and Mercy to you, km

Three Scriptures, two Quotes and one thought from me.

Scriptures

Psalm 34:18
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Quotes

Billy Graham
God never intended for us to face grief alone. His Word and His Spirit are always there to comfort us.

Corrie ten Boom
There is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still.

Thought from Me.

I am calling each of my friends names before the throne of Grace for help in their time of need. Only the peace of Jesus can heal the broken hearted.
