Ending a season - Beginning a new season

Hey Reader,

In my Facebook Group I am encouraging us to review monthly. This helps us keep on track for our annual and monthly goals. And gives us a place to review before the end of the year when we forgot what we did.

This was my FB Group Post and I wanted to share it with you:

Monthly Review! What were your accomplishments this month? It's the last Friday of the month of August. I am reflecting over the month and I am so excited to have 3 episodes published on my podcast and they are on Apple Podcast and Spotify now too. (that was a learning curve)

Friday, I asked the Lord what now. What should I stop doing? In July I stoped doing the 3*2*1 Emails on Tuesday. And Now I will stop doing the Monthly Scripture Calendar.

WAIT! Actually, I am revamping the scripture calendar to a scripture devotional list. I have the one for September ready! So it will publish this weekend to be ready for Sept 1. So often we do too much, and we need to look at what we need to reduce so we can do what He has called us to do.
How was your August? What are you celebrating? Who do you need to thank? What might you stop doing?

There may be weekly devotional that goes along with this scripture list. It is a progression of the journey of faith.

A journey of vision → renewed thinking → words → faith → action → perseverance → gratitude → rootedness.

As I type this I can't tell you how excited I am in my spirit. And yet, I know what it will require of me.

Will Jesus find faith on the earth when he returns? Will he say "well done my faithful servant? What gift has He given you that you are using or developing?

Have you asked, "LORD, what should I stop doing?" or "What should I step out in faith and be doing?"

I hope you will reply and share with me what the Lord is doing in your life. Or go to the Facebook Group and share there.

Hey Reader, Trusting God for Direction When You Don’t Know What to Do If you've ever traveled with children, you’ve probably heard that question more than once. Are we there yet? How much longer? But honestly, don’t we sometimes ask God the similar questions? “Am I where I am supposed to be?”“Am I going in the right direction?”“What am I to do next?” We have dreams and places we want to go. But is that where the Lord wants us? Are we in the right job, living in the right city? Who should I...

Hey Reader, Put Feet to Your Faith: How to Be a Doer of the Word You know when you've been worrying about something for so long that you finally say, “Okay, enough thinking and fretting about this. I need to do something!” Maybe you've been praying about something, but you can’t stop feeling fretful over the situation. You've studied what God's Word says about it. You've memorized the Scripture. You've thought about it over and over, but the fretful thoughts keep coming. There comes a point...

Hey Reader, Have you ever just had so much going on that you just couldn’t do another thing and the things you were in rhythm to were totally out of sync. I remember a crazy busy season of our pastor's life that on Monday evening (after work at my full time job) I crashed on the couch and said take me away somewhere we don’t have to drive or pack up and repack. No road trip - from hotel to hotel. My next statement was something like, if I wouldn’t need a passport I’d want a cruise. My son...
